Some insight from our clients
I thought I knew all about PTSD but after attending the workshop I discovered I didn’t know much at all. Information was presented in layman’s terms and from personal experience, we weren’t bombarded with statistics. As a chaplain I can now better support those who come to me with PTSD.
The PTSD Support Group has been endlessly helpful. It has been a great comfort to learn I am not on my own and that there are others who understand and have been where I am.
I really love the informality of the group. A real bond has developed with the group & the wonderful ladies that run it. Identifying the differences between the disorders that were once “tarred” with the same brush and how to work through them
It was good to meet you & Harvey today, & spend so much unexpected time talking with you—it was very interesting! Thank you so much for your time
