Supporting those who put their lives on the line every time they go to work

Australian Resource Centre Ltd is a not for profit national health promotion charity that supports, educates and advocates for Australians living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and associated conditions; providing hope and healing for the unseen wounds of trauma.

The primary goal of the organisation is to raise awareness of post traumatic stress disorder and for patients to receive equal access to advice, support, education and resources to help manage their illness. We support our Military, Civilians, First Responders and Indigenous Australian’s as P.T.S.D does not discriminate by age, religion, race, location or occupation.

Australian Resource Centre for PTSD Ltd offers FREE UNLIMITED 15 min consultations by appointment. Australian Resource Centre for PTSD also provides a free website that list’s currently available P.T.S.D resources in Australia. This incorporates; Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Traditional and non traditional service providers. All services are listed under four main categories; Military, Civilian, First responders (Police, Paramedic, Fire) and Indigenous Australian’s.

Australian Resource Centre for PTSD all run workshops are suitable for individuals with PTSD, their Carer’s, Family, Spouse even employers. Our workshops would be beneficial to Frontline workers like Retail, Health Workers and the broader community who want to be educated and informed in how to assist someone who may: have PTSD and is triggered, suffering a panic or anxiety attack, depressed or suicidal. We educate from a “lived experience” model where workshops are facilitated by those who have experienced traumatic events themselves. This is an opportunity to ask questions about how Trauma can affect relationships, work, daily life, family, friendships in a no holds barred environment. If we don’t know the answer we ask our expert team on our Advisory Board. Learn what to say/do and what not to say/do, we give you the tools and takeaway resources to help you identify someone in need and how to assist them.

Next workshop is Saturday 24thMarch, 114 March at the Hawkesbury Leisure & Learning Centre: call 0449 753 555 to book.
